About

A small studio, on purpose.

The team · Lima

Wasi means home in Quechua. That is how we see software: something built to stay, that the client lives in and that grows with their business.

We are a small engineering and design team in Lima. We take on few projects so we can be truly involved: you talk directly with the people who build, with no account layers or middlemen.

Besides client projects, we build our own products. That is where we test the tools and practices we later bring to every project.

Who's behind it

Alex Rodriguez

Founder · Software engineer

I'm Alex. I spent years building software inside other people's teams and kept seeing the same thing: businesses tied to tools they didn't own. Wasilabs exists for the opposite: systems shaped around how you work, that belong to you and keep running long after I've left the room.

Before Wasilabs

Years building for others.

As an engineer at software consultancies, Alex took to production apps and platforms used today by end customers, operators and field teams.
